Background:
Councillor (Tk’wemi’ple7) Steven Teed is an Entrepreneur who has owned and operated his own businesses in the Food Service Industry for over four years working with and employing community members. Steven has a strong passion for food, he enjoys cooking and growing healthy organic produce for the community. That is why he became a Chef; he saw the happiness a delicious hot meal can bring to everyone and he wanted to bring more smiles to his community. Steven now focuses on the agriculture production of healthy, locally grown organic food to help feed families across the nation.
He brings his expertise in business and customer service to his new role as Councillor, he would like to thank everyone for the opportunity to serve his community, he is excited to work together towards common goals in an effort to improve our community and advance our agenda.
The protection of our water and resources is vital for the success of our future generations, Steven will be working with and learning from traditional knowledge keepers to help restore our title and rights out on the Secwepemc’ulecw.
