Mission Statement
The Community Safety Officer is committed to providing the highest quality of public safety initiatives for ALIB members through a tailored approach which focuses on the safety and security of community members, staff, premises, assets, and the public. We are continuously seeking to improve and enhance our services, to ensure we have the tools in place to meet the public safety needs of future ALIB generations.
General Roles & Responsibilities
The CSO is required to complete inspectional and regulatory work in Animal Control, Parking Control, Bylaw Enforcement and Band Security Services for Adams Lake Indian Band.
Goals & Objectives
- To provide service to the community by monitoring ALIB community Lands to ensure compliance with ALIB laws (water, trespassing, animal control, cannabis licensing, emergency, construction).
To respond to membership inquiries or complaints regarding public safety, unauthorized access, livestock and animal control, etc. To maintain records and reports of complaints & infractions.
